Comment choisir sa porte d‘entrée?

L’esthétique ne peut être le seul critère.  Elle doit bien fermer, isoler et, dans certains cas, apporter de la lumière naturelle.  Elle doit aussi être en accord avec son orientation.  Le choix du matériau se révèle, quant à lui, particulièrement important.

Le bois, isolant naturel, s’adapte facilement à toutes les dimensions.  Il séduit par son aspect intemporel, mais l’entretien de la face extérieure peut décourager si elle est très exposée aux intempéries.  En revanche, ce matériau permet une large gamme de couleurs.  Ainsi, on pourra la peindre en fonction de l’élément propre à son orientation.

Bien que cher, l’aluminium offre tous les atouts de la modernité: un large choix de designs contemporains, de couleurs, une durabilité exemplaire et aucun entretien.  Point faible, la porte doit bénéficier d’une bonne isolation thermique entre les deux parois afin d’éviter la sensation de froid en hiver.  Ce matériau, élément métal, est approprié pour les orientations Ouest, Nord-ouest ou Nord.  Attention à ce que la couleur soit également en accord avec l’orientation.

Sans entretien, excellent isolant, le PVC, élément neutre en Feng Shui, c’est à dire qu’il s’adapte à toutes les orientations, permet tous les types de décor, mais dans un choix de couleurs assez limité pour des questions de finition et de durabilité.  Il n’empêche que les couleurs proposées peuvent être adaptées à l’orientation en prenant en compte le cycle des 5 éléments.

How to choose your front door?

Design is not the only criteria.  It must isolate, be theftproof, and in some cases, provide natural light.  It must be in accordance with its direction as well.  The choice of material is, however, particularly important.

Wood, which provides natural insulation, adapts easily to all dimensions.  Its timelessness may seduce, but maintaining the outer side may discourage, if it is very much exposed to the elements.  However, this material allows a wide range of colors.  Thus, we can paint it according to the element proper to its orientation.

Although expensive, aluminum offers all the advantages of modernity: a wide choice of contemporary designs, colors, durability and maintenance-free.  Weak point, the door must have good thermal insulation between the two walls to avoid the sensation of cold in wintertime.  This material, metal, is suitable for directions such as West, North-west or North.  Please note that the color must also correspond to its orientation.

Maintenance-free, excellent insulation, PVC, neutral element in Feng Shui, that is to say that it adapts to all orientations, allows all types of decor, but in a limited choice of colors for a question of finish and durability.  Nevertheless, the colors can be adjusted to any orientation taking into account the cycle of 5 elements.

« Etoile Volante »…  c’est un joli nom pour désigner un des aspects du Feng Shui, si ce n’est le plus important, pour étudier un lieu. C’est l’approche du Feng Shui traditionnel chinois.

Le Feng Shui de l’étoile volante se base sur les orientations du lieu ainsi que son année de construction. Conjointement à cela, les dates des dernières rénovations majeures qui sous-entendent une redistribution de l’espace ou une réfection de toiture, sont également à prendre en compte.  La date d’emménagement peut également jouer un rôle dans le calcul de la Flying Star d’un lieu, puisque les nouveaux arrivants ont amené avec eux de nouvelles énergies.  Il est vrai que dans le dernier cas, pour que le changement d’énergie soit probant, une purification de l’espace pour débarrasser le lieu des énergies des derniers occupants, aura dû être faite au préalable.

En fonction de la date de construction / rénovation majeure et de l’orientation de la façade du bâtiment, cet aspect complexe du Feng Shui fait ressortir une combinaison de 3 chiffres dans chaque secteur du lieu étudié.  A ces combinaisons viennent s’ajouter le chiffre de l’année et le chiffre du mois.

De ce fait, la Flying Star bouge en permanence.

La clé est de travailler sur les combinaisons de 3 chiffres présentes dans chaque secteur du bâtiment afin que le chiffre de l’année et du mois y aient moins d’influence.

« Flying Star » … it’s a pretty name for designating one of the aspects of Feng Shui, if not the most important, to study a given place. This is the approach of traditional Chinese Feng Shui.

Feng Shui Flying Star is based on how the place is orientated and its year of construction. Also, the dates of the latest major renovations which imply a redistribution of the space or roof repairs, must be taken into account.  The date when you moved in, may also play a role in the calculation of the Flying Star of a place, because you, as newcomers, have brought new energy to the place.  It is true that in the latter case, in order to shift radicaly energy, a space cleaning must be performed before hand to get the place rid of the last occupants’ energies.

Depending on the date of construction / major renovation and the orientation of the front of the building, this complex aspect of Feng Shui reveals a combination of 3 numbers in each sector of the place.  To these combinations add on both the figure of the year and the number of months.

As a result, the Flying Star is changing continuously.

The key is to work on the 3 digits combinations in each sector, so that the year and month figures have less influence.
