Des lambris bio
A priori, il n’y a rien de plus écologique que le bois. Et pourtant, il nécessite souvent, en construction notamment, un traitement contre les insectes xylophages et les champignons. Un tel traitement libère alors au fil des ans des substances chimiques nuisibles. Nombre de lambris bois actuels ont fait un pas dans la bonne direction. Ils proposent désormais des produits de finition en phase aqueuse et donc à base d’eau, même s’ils contiennent encore 3 à 5% de solvants et de cosolvants. En appliquant une peinture 100% naturelle à base d’huile végétale sur des lattes de bois n’ayant subi aucun traitement, Lambris Bio se présente comme un produit sain, exempt de tout élément chimique. Cette peinture, qui a obtenu trois labels (NF Environnement, Eco-label européen et PEFC), sèche très lentement (le séchage n’est complet que 10 jours après la pose du lambris).

Bio paneling
First hand, there is nothing more environmentally friendly than wood. Yet it often requires, in construction in particular, a treatment against wood boring insects and fungi. Such treatment then releases over the years harmful chemicals. Number of existing wood paneling stepped forward in the right direction. They now offer finishes in aqueous phase that are therefore water-based, although they still contain 3 to 5% of solvents and cosolvents. Applying 100% natural-plant-issue-oil-based paint on non treated wooden slats, Lambri Bio presents itself as a healthy product, free of any chemical element. This paint, which has won three labels (NF Environment, European Eco-label and PEFC), dries very slowly (drying is not completed until 10 days after placement of the siding).
