Que penser du bois comme source d’énergie?
Le chauffage au bois est le complément idéal d’un chauffage existant, et le bois lui-même est une énergie renouvelable facile d’accès. Certaines installations peuvent assurer seules le chauffage et être complétées par une installation solaire pour l’eau chaude sanitaire. Si vous optez pour un poêle ou une cheminée à insert, exigez le label Flamme verte. Enfin, n’oubliez pas que le sol doit supporter ce surpoids, que le mur derrière doit résister aux fortes chaleurs et que le conduit d’évacuation doit être aux normes actuelles.
D’un point de vue Feng Shui, il est idéal de placer la cheminée dans le secteur Sud, Sud-ouest ou Nord-est de votre maison, pour une question d’harmonie.

What about wood as an energy source?
Wood heating system is the perfect complement to an existing heating system. Moreover, wood itself is an easy-access renewable energy. Some devices can provide heat alone and be coupled with a solar system for water heating purpose. If you choose fireplace insert, ask for the Green Flame label. Finally, remember that the floor has to bear this overweight, that the behind wall must withstand high temperatures and the flue must meet current standards.
From a Feng Shui point of view, it is ideal to place the fireplace in the Southern, South-western or North-eastern sector of your home, for a question of harmony.
